We want to introduce you to one of our expert Case Managers, Chantelle Neely. Our case managers work tirelessly behind the scenes, servicing your policy, communicating with your insurance provider, or helping you when making a claim.

Tell us about how you came to work at AdviceFirst?
I feel privileged to be at a stage of my life where I get to try new things and gain new experiences. Before working at AdviceFirst, I had never worked within the insurance industry, but it’s a space that interests me. So, when the opportunity arose to work here, I was so excited and honoured to make the jump and step into a role that could challenge me and teach me new things.

 

What is a case manager at AdviceFirst?
A case manager engages with clients on a day-to-day basis, helping them make their experience with their insurance provider more seamless. I get to talk to clients daily and help them implement changes upon their request, supporting them through the process when they need to make a change, update details or make a claim.

Think of us as that behind-the-scenes person who supports our advisers and clients in moving forward with their insurance plans.

 

What do you do in your day-to-day as a case manager?
Some of the things we do to help our clients are:

  • assist clients with insurance queries
  • help clients with payment queries
  • assist our clients throughout the claim process
  • communicate with our providers on clients’ behalf
  • support our financial advisers with any assistance they may need with our clients

 

What do you love most about your job?
The team spirit and morale is something that I am proud to be a part of at AdviceFirst. Everyone here is kind, supportive and hard-working.

 

What do you do for joy outside of work?
I love to run. On my weekends, I enjoy exploring new places to walk and run. I also love spending time with my partner, family and friends and rewatching my favourite shows.

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
The best advice I’ve received and that has stuck with me is to be your best at all times.
