How we’re improving our workplace health & safety
In 2018 we were major sponsors of the Safe365 ‘Safest Place to Work Awards’, and part of our commitment to health and safety in 2019 has been adopting use of Safe365 within AdviceFirst across our 14 sites, nationwide. We caught up with our Wellington Site Coordinator Viv Holmes to find out how Safe365 has positively impacted the way we do things.
When asked what Safe365 meant for AdviceFirst’s health and safety compliance and how has it served as a sense check, Viv chatted about the benefits so far.
“We’re only a few months in but already Safe365 has shown us the key areas where we need to show some improvement. We’re lucky that we’re not in a typically hazardous work environment, but there are still areas for consideration that you might not otherwise notice and Safe365 has helped raise awareness for the health and safety committee. Knowledge can then be filtered down to employees on best practice.
