Sandy spent the earlier part of her career within the Private Training Establishment (PTE) sector, which she entered straight after graduating from a Bachelor of Business (Management and Marketing Management). Sandy gained a wide range of skills whilst working in this industry – from student management and in-depth knowledge of NZQA qualifications to domestic and international student recruitment.
Sandy enjoyed recruitment so much that she made the decision to change career direction and entered the world of HR.
Sandy’s work at POD | AdviceFirst as an HR Coordinator sees her engaged in a wide range of HR activities whilst offering support to the rest of the team. The best thing about POD | AdviceFirst is that it’s the type of place where the learning will never stop!
Outside of work Sandy is a wife and mum to a little girl, and enjoys regular outings with friends and family. She’s also passionate about event décor and has been involved in organising and styling events, including weddings.
