Before working at AdviceFirst, Alan had a distinguished career with the New Zealand Police and was awarded the NZ Special Services Medal (Erebus) and NZ Police Silver medal for bravery.
Alan is married and with one daughter. In his spare time he is an avid fisherman and is involved in the Rotary Community Service club.
